Sandalwood · Violet · Musk

Hushed Wood belongs to the hour when the room grows quieter and the last of the daylight settles across the furniture. Sandalwood, cedarwood and musk create a warm, rounded woody character, while violet and jasmine bring gentle floral softness.

Light it while reading, writing, or letting the room settle after dinner. Woody without becoming austere and floral without becoming ornate, Hushed Wood leaves a soft, composed presence in the room rather than asking for attention.

Hand-poured in Christchurch, New Zealand, using 100% natural soy wax. Presented in a brown glass vessel with a natural cork lid and ORYAORI kraft paper outer box.

Scent profile

Warm, smooth and gently floral. Sandalwood, cedarwood and musk create a rounded woody character, with violet and jasmine bringing a subtle floral lift.

How long will my candle burn?

Our 180g soy candles offer up to 25 hours of burn time. Actual burn time may vary depending on how you use and care for your candle.

How should I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to around 5mm before each burn. On the first burn, allow the wax to melt close to the edges of the jar to help prevent tunnelling. Always burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, and never leave a candle unattended.

How strong is the fragrance?

Each fragrance has its own character, and how noticeable it feels can vary depending on room size, airflow and personal preference. We recommend starting in a smaller space to enjoy the scent.
