About Us
The Story of Our Name
ORYAORI began long before it became a brand. It started in 2019, when my wife was pregnant and we were preparing to welcome our first child. We named our daughter Orya. At the same time, we kept another name in our hearts—Ori—for a child we did not yet know if we would ever have.
Both names come from Hebrew, carrying the meaning: “God is light.” As Christians, this felt deeply right to us. In the Gospel of John:
”Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
( John 8:12 NKJV )
Light, to us, is not a symbol of brilliance. It is warmth. It is guidance. It is the quiet presence that makes everyday life feel less heavy.
ORYAORI is simply both names held together—two pieces of light, gently joined. And from the beginning, we chose to treat this brand like a child: to accompany it, to protect it, to grow with it, and to take it seriously over time.
What We Believe About Light
At the heart of ORYAORI is a simple belief: life already carries its own light.
Light doesn’t need to be manufactured or exaggerated. It rises from warmth, from honest textures, from the quiet steadiness of everyday moments. We don’t want to make life louder. We want to make it feel more settled, more gently lit.
That is why our brand essence is Light & Nature— the warmth of light, and the texture of what feels real.
“Let life shine” is not a slogan for us. It is a way of seeing: honoring the small, ordinary moments where light is already present, and creating things that help that light feel easier to notice.
How We Create
We are not trying to impress. We are trying to be quietly dependable.
Every candle, every bar of soap, every aroma plaster begins with a simple question:
“Will this make someone’s everyday feel more comfortable, more at ease, more gently lit?”
We choose natural, simple, minimally processed materials whenever we can— but we refuse to pretend to be “pure” when it isn’t true. Honesty matters more to us than image.
We care about texture over luxury: how something feels in the hand, how it sits in a room, how it changes the atmosphere without shouting.
We test, adjust, and refine slowly. We would rather launch fewer products and stand by them fully than chase trends or create things that look good but don’t feel right in real life.
How We Accompany People
We don’t see customers as numbers. We see them as people with homes, routines, tired days, and quiet hopes.
When someone chooses ORYAORI, we want them to feel gently accompanied, not impressed or pressured.
That means:
· answering questions with patience, not scripts
· packing orders carefully, as if sending something to a friend
· fixing mistakes honestly when they happen
· listening when someone shares how a product feels in their real life
We hope our products can sit quietly in the background of a day— on a shelf, by a sink, beside a bed— adding warmth without demanding attention.
To us, that is what it means to “let life shine”: not to make life perfect, but to make it feel a little more held, a little more gently lit.
Let Life Shine
We believe everyone carries a quiet light within. ORYAORI is not here to give you light, but to accompany the light already rising in your life.
If our products can make your everyday feel a little warmer, a little calmer, a little more gently illuminated— then we have done what we came here to do.
